WYLIE's Story...
Wylie Coyote - yes, that's his name. He's on the small side, extremely thin and very sweet. He's in need of a very long brush session, which adds to his coyote look.

Wylie came with Merlin, Chap and Sierra. He immediately got along with them and at this point, feels very comfortable with dogs. He will come to people, and he accepts pets and love and small amounts of brushing, but then he's off, running after his new friends. He acclimated to the crate immediately and is a nice, quiet boy. When we get to know him, we'll post more. In the meantime, he's in the East Bay hanging with all the foster dogs.

He's listed as a level 3 dog but is likely to be a level 2 dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WYLIE, a Castro Valley German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
