CHAP's Story...
Do you want a lap dog? Chap is a love. A lap dog, full weight, sitting in your lap; he's very sweet.

Chap is a classic black and tan 1 year old. He's tall and very thin, and he needs a lot of groceries.

This guy is really nice. He's happy, playful, affectionate and hangs out nicely with all the foster dogs. We don't know anything fun about him yet, but we'll let you know as soon as he shows that side of him.

Chap is in the east bay, listed as a level 3 but likely to be a level 2. He's also good with Test Kitty!!! He gave a small sniff to test kitty and sister Emmie, looked at them, sniffed again, and then turned away slowly. He did that three times, not wanting to follow through with further investigation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHAP, a Castro Valley German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
