Almond's Story...
Meet Almond! What a cutie this little one is. Such unique markings. Almond is about 10 weeks old. She and her siblings were dumped at the pound with little hope to make it out. She is so sweet and a very playful girl. Almond loves to explore and have some fun. She is learning all things that puppies need to know. Almond is good with other dogs. She is a healthy girl too. Almond is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped. She is currently in Louisiana, but transport is available to the northeast area at no additional fee. If you are interested, please email April at apr0227@msn.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Almond, a Portsmouth Cattle Dog/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Border Collie for sale in Portsmouth, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Portsmouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portsmouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portsmouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portsmouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
