Behold, humans! It is I, Lola, though you may call me ‘Your Majesty.’ ‘Khaleesi of the Great Catnip Sea’ is acceptable as well. I am a lovely Torbie girl, about 8 or 9 years old. Supposedly my best friend T-Bird and I were dumped at the shelter due to a new baby in the family, but perhaps my former owners couldn’t handle my magnificence.
I am a stunning beauty, if I do say so myself. I am also playful and delight in racing through the house. Watch me pounce! Watch me leap! And I do it all with elegance.
I’m not a cuddly cat (queens must maintain their dignity), but I do enjoy sitting by my humans and overseeing their activities. I am very good with other cats and dogs as well. I currently share my domain with a pair of ill-mannered hound mixes and a whole host of other cats who I rule over with a firm but benevolent paw. I am spayed and up-to-date on all my shots.
A few other things you should know about me:
· I’m quite possibly part-Abyssinian, but I am 100% awesome.
· I have a heart murmur. It’s not serious, but it’s something to be aware of and I might need to see a kitty cardiologist from time to time.
· I have to be adopted with my best friend, T-Bird. A queen must have her prince!
To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
