My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gump! This guy is one of the most beautiful dogs you will ever meet. His golden eyes and shiny coat will have you at hello. Gump was found as a stray by animal control and lived at the shelter for months before going home with one of the shelter workers. He has been in our foster care system ever since, learning his house manners and wishing every day for his new forever home! Gump loves to go on runs, playing with toys, and (with a little training) would even love to run alongside your bike. Gump is one smart dog and is already housebroken, kennel-trained, and enrolled in a formal training course. He is also smart enough to steal and eat your socks without looking, so keep an eye on him!

At around 3 years, Gump weighs in just over 60lbs. This guy is built for activity so an active family that wants an equally active companion would be ideal. His endless enthusiasm for his family would make him best suited for older children he couldn't knock over. A fuzzy companion tolerant of a big goofball would be great for Gump, since he loves to rough-house with other dogs. This guy does best with a job to do so he would excel in anything from hunting to agility. All this guy needs is a patient family that is all his own!

Dogs in our program are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and examined by a veterinarian prior to adoption.

Gump is currently in foster care so, if interested, please email us today!
