Octavia's Story...
Octavia #1421 is a 5-month-old female, Shepherd mix. She is a typical sweet and playful puppy. We are working on crate training and socialization. She is shy at first and warms up quickly, but loves to be around her canine friends. She is learning to walk well on leash. We expect her to weigh 50 pounds as an adult. Just like any puppy, this pup will need a loving home with an adopter that has the time to commit to continued puppy training to assist with house, leash and obedience training. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: and return it per instructions. Email with questions

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Octavia, a Waldorf Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
