Darrien's Story...
Darrien is an adorable, shy, sweet and playful, black and white, eight-week-old, male kitten looking for a loving guardian.

Poor little Darrien was found living outside under a shed in recent heavy rains. He went to live with a cat mom and her kittens and they accepted him as part of the family. Darrien is shy with people, but he comes around with cuddling and love. And, he loves other cats. He uses his litter box and scratching post like a well-behaved house guest.

Darrien is very healthy, neutered vaccinated, virus-tested and micro-chipped. His adoption fee of $125 or $225 as a pair with one of his foster brothers. Please contact Sheri at sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. He is currently residing in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darrien, a Chicago Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
