Achilles's Story...
Hi! I'm Achilles, a very handsome 5yr old Pit Bull Terrier. My coat is a
brown brindle color and I have 1 blue and 1 brown eye. I'm an atheletic
55-60lbs, a weight I like to maintain by running or walking with my
caretaker. Naps taken in between activities are fun too. I like children,
going for rides and meeting new people. I will WOOF! when people come to the
house, but I stop when you tell me to. I've always lived inside and I have
good manners, I don't chew on anything but my toys. Come meet me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Achilles, a Bellingham Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
