Rusty - free to seniors's Story...
Rusty's parents have to move to Colorado for a new job soon and he would not tolerate the travel and such a big change at his wise and wonderful age of 12. Rusty is extremely mellow, outgoing and sweet. He loves to give his belly to be rubbed, enjoyes napping around the house and snuggling up against you to relax. He still loves to play wtih strings and laser lights and purrs to show how content he is. He will adjust almost instantly to a new home. His current owners are sorry to have to give him up but know their loss is someone elses gain.

All the standard incentives apply if you adopt him. If you want an easy going and super affectionate kitty, he is the one for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty - free to seniors, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
