Nellie is a stunning dilute Tortie with green eyes that will melt your heart. Our poor girl was found left abandoned by her owners in an apartment during the cold winter. We don't know how long she was by herself, but she must have been terribly confused and frightened. It took a bit of time for her to realize that she was safe and loved in her foster home, but once she relaxed, she started to blossom and show her true colors. Nellie is very sweet and loving and wants nothing more than a quiet home where she can feel comfortable and secure and a warm lap to snuggle up on. She needs to be the only pet in the house and would do best without young children as they may scare her. She would make an awesome pet for an older couple or a single person who would love to have a kitty companion, especially one who will curl up with them on rainy days or comfort them when they have a bad day. Nellie does require a canned food diet as she had some periodontal issues that were neglected by her previous owners and ultimately required several of her teeth to be pulled. She also has a bit of arthritis in her hip that causes her to walk with a slight limp, but other than that, she is perfectly healthy and happy. She is approximately 6 years old, is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations.
