Darla's Story...
Darla and her siblings are such Little Rascals -- they were dumped on the side of the road in Sylmar. A good samaritan found them and contacted the rescue to take them in. Darla is 9 weeks old and 4 lbs, Terrier Mix. She is quiet and shy at first, but warms up quickly. Our foster says she is sweet as can be. She's had her 1st set of vaccinations and microchipped.

Her adoption fee includes vaccinations, microchip and spay. Please go to our website to complete an adoption application at www.savingk9livesplus.org

Thank you for choosing to adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla, a Encino Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Encino, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
