Important Note

Gemini is best friends with Carina. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Found wandering in a fellow foster's backyard in search for food, Carina and her sister Gemini were following their mother back and forth from an abandoned building in South City, Missouri. Brought into Tenth Life's loving care, Gemini & Carina, now approximately 1.5 years old, had a rough road early in life but have since found some peace and happiness.

Gemini and Carina are bonded sisters, who have never been separated. For the sake of their peace of mind it is essential that these two stay together. These girls are beautiful, sweet, fun-loving cats to one another and need each other for comfort and security. What is needed now, more than anything else, is a forever home filled with love, quiet, calmness, patience and understanding. Neither cat is a cuddler and both need time to get to know their new surroundings, smells, sights and adopters. Winning the trust of these beautiful girls will take time, but it is a geuninely rewarding experience once it happens.

Gemini is a white and brown tabby with some hints of grey in her soft and beautiful coat. More outgoing than her sister, she always greets her foster mother at the door, even if mealtime is hours away. She responds to sweet talk and loves to rub her cute face on hands and fingers. Once trust has been established she will even flop onto her side for scratches between her should blades. She loves this area scratched so much in fact she will flop to the ground even if the scratching begins in a standing position! Still somewhat shy and skittish, her natural curiousity takes over and those large gorgous, green eyes, cute pink nose and adorable pajama-striped legs bound out of her catroom door, dying to see what lies beyond.

It is believed that both Gemini and Carini need a quiet home without other pets or children. Both girls have been spayed and are up to date on all vaccinations.

About Tenth Life Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Tenth Life is an animal welfare organization that provides another chance at life to injured and abused stray cats. Our focus is on felines with extreme medical needs or ongoing conditions that make it difficult for typical shelters to afford their care.

Stage one of our mission is getting needy cats off the streets of St. Louis and into caring Foster Homes, where they await their forever homes. Stage two´s goal is to open a shelter building that will house special-needs kitties in a cage-free, no-kill setting until they can be carefully placed in their forever homes.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters are required to complete a comprehensive application and interview, and will need to supply proper identification, as well as personal and veterinary references. Our adoption fee is $125 for kittens 6 months or younger, and $100 for any cat over six months of age. Our fee includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccines to-date of adoption, and a microchip. Once approved, all adopters are required to sign an adoption contract.
