Amina in Houston's Info...

I am purebred, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Amina in Houston's Story...
Amina is a 13 pound rough coat female. She is about 1.5 years old. She likes to run around and play. Like most JRTs she will need a secure yard to play in. When it is time to calm down she is ready to be a lap dog.

She would love a brother doggie to wrestle around with. She will not do well being left all alone all day with no companionship. All JRTs need attention and stimulation.

No female dogs or cats or kids under 12.

Please fill out application on www.russellrescue.com. Adoption fee is 200 dollars. Home visit and vet check required. No shipping out of state. Contact Jolleyjames@sbcglobal.net if interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amina in Houston, a Houston Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
