Ocee's Story...
Ocee - my name means "Hello" in the Cherokee language. I haven't met anyone I don't like. I am a Cattle Dog/ Border Collie mix and am about 1.5 years old. I am a big boy, about 60 pounds and stand tall and straight, I am up to date on my shots, neutered, heart worm negative and love to be around people. Need someone experienced with my breed to help train me. I know some of the basic commands. I am house and crate trained. I like cats but tend to chase them so they might not like me. Won't you give me a chance and give me a furever home with you?
We are a private shelter with flexible hours. Please call (501) 428-7940 for more details and to make an appointment to see Ocee and say "hello".

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ocee, a Conway Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie for sale in Conway, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Conway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conway paves the way for another one to be saved.
