Draco's Story...
This handsome boy with the unusual name is full of energy, despite his age. He's used to living with lots of activity going on, so he's looking for a home where he can be a full-fledged member of the family. He loves to play fetch, go for long walks, and be part of everything going on.

Draco is a beautiful bi-black Sheltie, very healthy, and up to date on everything. His teeth have been cleaned, and his thick coat is shiny and clean (though he is shedding right now - typical Sheltie!). He is friendly, likes to meet new people, and plays with anything he fancies. He's also a good "fetch" dog. Draco gets along with other dogs, but he is really more people-oriented than dog-oriented. He's a strong dog used to lots of activity and play. He'll need regular exercise, and he'd be a star in an obedience class. That would really benefit him, provide a good bonding experience with his new humans, and help him focus better.

His foster provider says, "Draco is a sweet-natured fellow who tries so hard to talk when he's being petted." Don't let his age in years dissuade you from considering this wonderful boy with lots of fun years yet to go.

Draco is ... 14 inches tall, 28 pounds, and 8 years old. His adoption fee is $250. Before you inquire about Draco, please read ALL the information "How to Adopt" on our website ( It will answer your questions about our process and expectations.
