My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Buffett, after you know - Jimmy Buffett. You know the "Margaritaville" song. Although I have never had one, I hear they are pretty tasty. Anyway, I was given up by my family because they had no time for me. They kept me either chained up or in a small pen outside for my entire life. I was not happy there at all and I am glad to find a new home. I am a 3 year old pure bred Golden Retriever boy, about 65 pounds - have not missed a meal. I do not like to share my things with other dogs but I don't mind if humans takes things from me. My original family did not take good care of me because now I have heartworms and AGK is going to paid to get rid of them. I am a loving, sweet boy and I think I deserve a chance to have a real golden life. I have come a long way since being in foster - I now sleep inside every night (I used to be scared of the indoors since I was an outdoor only dog in my past life). I am also getting along with my smaller canine foster brother Sam. My only request is that my new family have a fenced in back yard since I love the outdoors so much. Foster mom and dad have been taking me for walks and I am getting better on the leash every day! If you are looking for a handsome, loving golden boy, ask for me - Buffett!
