Ginger & Zee's Story...
Recently saved from a local overcrowded shelter, this purry and adorable 8 week old brother/sister pair are quickly learning how nice it feels to sit on laps, get petted and enjoy human companionship. They both have extra toes on their front paws (polydactyl)...it's said to bring good luck and who couldn't use some of that?

Ginger has a beautiful multi-color coat and is much more petite than her brother.
Zee has classic swirly orange tabby markings and already shows signs that he'll grow to be a good size boy! They are a bonded pair and need to find a forever home together, where they are sure to provide double the entertainment and love for the right family. Posted 6/14/14

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger & Zee, a Arlington Polydactyl/Hemingway kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Polydactyl/Hemingway for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Polydactyl/Hemingway kitten from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Polydactyl/Hemingway breeders who help with Polydactyl/Hemingway rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
