Lulu's Story...
Little lovable Lulu. I'm a darling girl around 1.5 years old who is a bit shy when we first meet, but once I know you're a good person, all I want to do is cuddle up in your lap. I like a nice quiet place where I can relax in a warm spot. I would make a great walking partner if you're looking to get in a little exercise. I'm a zen sort of girl who would love to find a peaceful forever home where we can find comfort in each other's quite companionship. Sound like the girl of your dreams? Contact Power of Chi to meet me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lulu, a Oakland Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
