Abbey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Abbey's Story...
Abbey Road is a 2.5 year old spayed female. She's about 50 pounds, and she LOVES other dogs -- big and little! She really, really adores children, and she likes the parents too! She is house-trained and crate-trained, and she's an all around wonderful family dog. She's also great on the leash and would love a family with a walker or runner.

Abbey originally came to us one year ago -- she and her 7 puppies had been in a local animal control facility. She was fostered, her pups went to their own fosters when old enough, and they were all adopted. We all LOVED Abbey... truly a wonderful, gentle, sweet dog. Then she was finally adopted and went to her own home 6 months ago. We thought it was a happy ending. Sadly, we recently got word that Abbey had to come back to us. It was no fault of her own -- rather a life change that her adopter didn't plan for. But we'll move forward... we know there is a TRUE forever family out there for her!

Abbey is being fostered yet again by an amazing BullsEye family, and she's doing great. If you're interested in meeting Abbey, please shoot us an email at bullseyerescue@gmail.com

Abbey's adoption fee is $225. Adoption applications can be found at www.bullseyerescue.com. An application, home, vet and reference checks are all required to adopt. A phone interview is required prior to a meet n greet.

While BullsEye makes an educated guess as to the predominant breed or breed mix of our adoptable dogs, visual breed identification in dogs is an unreliable indicator of their actual breed. Instead, we evaluate each dog individually and get to know each dog personally. We do our best to describe our dogs to you based on their personality and temperament instead of by breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abbey, a Atlanta Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
