Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bodie: 9 Year Old Yellow Lab / Sheppard Mix Neutered Male 65 Pounds
Hi, my name is Bodie.
I am a 9 year old lab / sheppard mix. I was rescued as a puppy from Pound Puppy rescue at 8 weeks of age. I have been with the owner my entire life up until recently. My family is getting divorced and no one in the family can keep me. I was the husband’s dog and I am currently with the mother in law who wants me to go. She has fed me and taken care of me as best she can but I love to go for walks and I have not been getting walked much over the last year. I love other people, children of all ages and animals. I grew up with kids who are now 3 and 6 years old. (Bodie can be around kids of all ages. He is very friendly with kids and he does not jump up to greet anyone.) As a puppy I attended obedience / socialization training through Bark Busters, which has a life time membership specific to me no matter who I am with. If for some reason my new family or I need some help through the transition to a new home, Bark Busters will come to my new home at no additional costs. Bodie is located in Menlo Park.

(Please keep in mind we are all volunteers, most of us work full time and we all have personal lives. I do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient and I will be back in touch with you. When the dogs are in foster homes then it may take longer as we need to touch base with the fosters for updates on the dogs. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week and we do not have a facility that we keep the dogs housed in. They are scattered all over the Bay Area.)
