There is nothing like a Basset Hound to add flavor to Animatch’s vast array of dogs. Meet Jill. She and her buddy, Jack, were picked up by a Good Samaritan, who also happens to be an Animatch Volunteer, on the Highway in the area of the Mercier Bridge. Jack and Jill are very lucky that they lived to see another day! We doubt that they were lost, most likely dumped! Like all Bassets, Jill has a powerful nose with a yen for odors, so a fenced yard is a must. She may not be a jogging partner but she will need a daily dose of exercise as a work out for her body and her nose. If you have you ever heard the musical bay/howl of a Basset, you know that she may not be appreciated in an apartment or condo. Since we have no history on Jill, a home without young children would best suit her. It would be wonderful if Jack and Jill could find a home together given that they are very fond of each other but they can also go their separate ways and be happy. Jill is an easy-going, good-natured, sociable girl who is looking for a Basset loving family to call her own. She wants nothing more than to please and be with her human, so please consider bringing Jill into your life. Fill in the Adoption Form and ask for this beautiful Basset.
