Griffin's Story...
Please meet Griffin. Griffin is a terrific little Bichon/Poodle mix with a fantastic personality. He is a small guy who weighs about 14 pounds and is about 7 years old. Griffin loves to play with his humans and other dogs. Car rides are special times for sniffing lots of new smells and seeing the sights. His foster parents think he is just about the best dog they have ever seen. They are hoping he will soon find the "fur-ever" home he deserves since he was so neglected by his first family. Griffin would probably be fine as the only dog in the household. Are you the "fur-ever" home that Griffin deserves? If so, please email us for more information and a copy of our adoption application at adoptions@earstexas.org. Please note that because Griffin is so small, we do not recommend him to families with children under the age of five years old. All of our animals are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Griffin, a Dallas Bichon Frise/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
