Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Big fan of: Buck loves people (including children!) and is having a ball playing with all his new friends on the roof deck of the PAWS Adoption Center. Even if the rest of us are not too happy about it, Buck certainly doesn’t mind the late winter snow! This clever and confident boy is looking for a home where he’ll get lots of exercise as well as mental stimulation—a typical husky, he is incredibly intelligent and may turn to mischief to entertain himself if he is not adequately tired out. He is good with other dogs, especially those who like to play rough, so daycare or the dog park would be great options for burning off some of that energy.
Not a fan of: Like a lot of Huskies, he can’t resist chasing cats.
A little more… With his striking blue eyes and friendly disposition, everyone loves Buck! This dashing, 1-year-old Siberian Husky came to PAWS in January as a stray from Animal Control. He was underweight at 42 pounds and his now gorgeous coat was matted and dirty. After receiving some TLC at the PAWS Rescue and Recovery Center, he is ready to find his forever home! Buck already knows some commands like “sit” and “stay”, and is currently working on his leash etiquette. His other favorite pastimes are playing fetch and riding in the car. Puzzle toys are also a great way to keep him occupied!
Dream home: Buck would love an active home with someone who is familiar with the breed and has no cats or other small pets.
