My name is Bertha!

Boxer Dog for adoption in Boise, Idaho - Bertha

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Bertha's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bertha's Story...
I'm 3 year old Bertha. I'm like the life of the party boxer girl always ready to go on new adventures. No lounging around all day for me - I'll be the one out having fun and just being silly. I love getting all crazy and doing zoomies! Catching the frisbee is always fun too.

Don't worry, I'm not always wild and crazy-I can settle down real good when I need to. I know my manners pretty good. I don't go potty in the house and will go right in my crate. I might even take a nap in there sometimes. I love taking walks and try not to pull too much. Car rides are the best when I can hang my head out the window.

I like playing with all the boxer friends but sometimes I try to get a little bossy and my foster mom gives me a time-out. Those are not fun.

I like the little people too but sometimes when I get really excited I forget they knock over easy. I am trying to remember.

Do you think I can go home soon?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bertha, a Boise Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Boise, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
