My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ki, came to CARE, Inc in January 2014 as a pup. Volunteers immediately noticed her intelligence and willingness. They wanted to do something to help her reach her potential so they partnered with Coco's Cupboard to sponsor her with the trainers at T.A.O.K9 Unleashed. For a month she has lived with the trainer Suzanne Aaron and attended group classes several times a week, learning basic obedience and meeting new people of all ages and sizes. During the day she is in a structured play group with other dogs in training. All of that schooling and exposure has built her confidence and focused her energy into learning. This dog is ready to learn anything her forever family wants to teach her. She has the easy going personality of her lab ancestors combined with a cattle dog's drive and willingness to work. If you are looking for a young, eager dog to work or play with your family, take a good look at Ki. She has plenty of energy to keep up with the kids and jog with the grown ups. She could be taught to handle livestock around a farm or follow commands for most any job in town. We've included photos of her in class meeting some children, adults and other dogs. As you can see she has slimmed down since her puppy portrait in the red scarf was taken. She still has a coat soft as a powder puff and a beautiful golden buff color set off with amber eyes.
