Jordan's Story...
Jordan is a young male (4 months) with lots of puppy energy who loves to play ball! We believe he is a Mastiff mix. He's doing great with kids and other dogs. He wasn't familiar with cats. He is doing fine with them, but does want to interact with them. He is a real sweetheart and really wants to be with people.

Check him out in his YouTube video!

He is current on shots, is microchipped and will be neutered soon.

His adoption fee is 100.00 plus proof of a pre-paid puppy training class. Adoption of any dog less than 6 months of age requires that the adopter provide training. Giving puppies formal training will give you a chance to bond with your new companion, and also significantly increases the fun times you will have together; a well trained dog is wonderful to live with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jordan, a Portland Mastiff puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff for sale in Portland, or seeking a Mastiff puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff breeders who help with Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
