Tulip's Story...
Tulip is a sweet little 8 year old Silky Terrier whose pet parent passed away. She loves seniors and is okay with children and other dogs, although she may growl on first meeting them. She will be just fine with other dogs in the home.

Tulip was kept inside and is trained to use pee pads. She will need an introduction to the outdoors, but will trust you to take care of her. She comes with free grooming at The Pet Palace in Camp Verde and in Cottonwood for life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tulip, a Sedona Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier for sale in Sedona, or seeking a Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Sedona.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sedona already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sedona breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sedona paves the way for another one to be saved.
