Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joey is a 6.5-year-old, 15-lb Bichon mix who was returned to us after five years due to some unfortunate circumstances. As you can see, he’s a total stud muffin who is sweeter than pie. A tiny bit shy at first, he is quick to attach once he warms up to you and will require a confident handler who will be the leader of the pack. He would do best in a home with grown/mature children (at least 16 years old). A smart little chap who is already house-trained, he takes direction well: “sit,” “stay,” “go to your crate,” “come here,” “do you want a treat?” and “let's go home” are all a part of his vocabulary! He’d love to be with someone who will play fetch with him and take him on plenty of walks throughout the day.
Overall, he’s a healthy boy, but he does have a large cyst in his right eye, which we are currently treating. After we take some biopsies to make sure it’s not cancerous, we will move forward with the recommended procedure, which may then only require routine maintenance from Joey’s future family.
