Patch's Info...

Patch's Story...
Patch is a young, year old pyr whose greatest desire in life is to
please. He is non-aggressive and very, very loving, constantly searching
for another pat and rub. Patch was rescued from a local shelter and is
very thin and a little timid. However, introducing him to his new foster
brother "Buddy" seems to have given Patch a new outlook on life and now
each day brings Patch more and more happiness and security as he blossoms
and discovers for possibly the first time in his life what a dog's life
should be! Patch loves to be with other dogs and gets very stressed if he
is left alone. So, a home with a stay at home person and other loveable,
playful dogs would be great for Patch. Patch has been exposed to cats and
never gave them a second look, so he should also be fine with cats.
Although he has only been around children on one or two occasions, I would be surprised if Patch was not good with children as well. He is heartworm negative, up to date on shots and is scheduled to be neutered on October 8th. Patch is also housebroken. Patch is a wonderful, loving young pyr that needs a safe, secure happy forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patch, a Kyle Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Kyle, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Kyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
