My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our four-five month old sweetheart named June. June is a Mountain Cur mix pup. June is one of the happiest dogs. She loves everyone she meets and loves to give kisses! June was rescued after she was taken to a vet's office by a shelter and asked to be euthanized due to space. The vet saw right away what a lovely dog she is and called us, asking us to take her. She weighs about 30 pounds. If you have ever the expression " wouldn't hurt a fly", well that is June. June is in a foster home with other dogs, large and small and cats. June is practicing up on her potty skills and is doing a great job. June is ready to meet her new family and call someplace HOME!

If you are interested in giving June a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

June's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transport.

June lives with a foster family in Tennessee. She will travel to her home by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly trip to the Chicago / Milwaukee/ Minneapolis areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
