Frank's Story...
Meet Frank! At just 1 1/2 years old, this is one adorable and affectionate little dog. Frank is charming his way into everyone’s hearts at ARF. He is easily one of the most personable and unique dogs to come through the shelter in a long time. And, while we’re thrilled to have him, this boy needs a forever home to call his own. Not too long ago, the future wasn’t looking too bright for Frank. But that has all changed now. He has a second chance at life and intends to make the most of it! Frank loves everyone that he meets, including other dogs. So, he would probably be willing to share his new home with a canine brother or sister.

If you’re looking for a little dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, consider giving Frank his forever home. You can meet Frank at the shelter!

** The adoption fee helps to cover the general veterinarian check-up, heartworm test, spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, rabies vaccination, worming, flea preventative, and microchip that all dogs adopted through Berea ARF receive prior to going into their new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frank, a Berea Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Berea, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
