Andrew's Story...
Andrew is a sweet and loving, 4 month old Chihuahua mix who currently weighs a whopping 4 pounds! This pint sized pal is full of energy and love, and will greet you daily with puppy kisses. Andrew loves to run around the yard, chase balls, and play a little fetch. He plays well with other dogs even though he is the smallest one in the house. When playtime is over, he is very content to curl up on your lap for love and snuggles. Andrew is crate trained, mostly housebroken, and responding well to house rules. He is up to date on shots, neutered, and fostered in Hanover, PA with other dogs and children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andrew, a New Oxford Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in New Oxford, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in New Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
