Scruffy's Story...
I am a 2 year old Wire-haired Terrier mix. I was found as a stray in La Junta, and was taken to a kill shelter. When nobody reclaimed me I was put on the euthanasia list. Dream Power saw me and transferred me over. I am super sweet and love to cuddle. I like everyone I have met so far. Not much is known about me, but I would love to show you who I am. Are you my forever family? If you would like to adopt, please fill out an application at www.dreampoweranimalrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scruffy, a Colorado Springs Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
