My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Duke! He is a beautiful 5 year old brindle and white English bulldog. His foster mom calls him her “gentle giant” because she says Duke is just the sweetest bulldog! Duke is a big baby… when he first came into BBR’s care he was terribly skittish, but since he has been in his foster home he is doing so much better! Duke loves to play fletch, and when he starts running – watch out! – He can bulldoze you right over! It is never out of aggression, just out of speed and size. Duke loves kids, but would be best for him to go to a home with children who are at least 8 years old due to his ability to knock little ones over.

Duke does have allergies, so he will need to be on grain-free, non-poultry diet to help keep his skin healthy and itch free. He does need daily cleaning and care for his ears, as they have always been an issue in the past. Duke is completely housebroken, and has never had any accidents in his foster home. He does like to sleep in bed with his humans, but has never even tried to get on the couch.

Duke does okay with other dogs, however he is the dominant type. He would do best in a home without any other dogs.

Please consider opening up your heart and giving Duke his furever home!

Adoption donation for Duke is $500.
