Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Have you been looking for that special furry friend, a sweet bundle of cuteness to follow you around, wagging her tail and happily greeting you when you walk in the door? If so, consider this little girl named Lucy, who would just love to have a home where she will be forever. Lucy is a 10 pound black and white Shih Tzu/mix. Because Lucy was found as a stray, her exact age is unknown, but the veterinarian estimates her to be around 3 ½ years old.
Lucy is energetic and loves to play. She is a bit shy at first, but as she acclimates to her new environment, she thrives on any attention. She loves being outside and will follow you to the door if you are going out, hoping she can go too. Plus she just wants to go wherever you go! Lucy especially loves her walks and is very curious about her surroundings. Lucy would be happy in a home with or without another small dog. She just needs a companion who will be with her much of the day and will walk her every day and provide adequate exercise.
Lucy would be happiest in a quiet, calm household with adults and possibly older, respectful children. She is healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on heart worm preventative, and is micro chipped. Her adoption fee is $320.00 plus sales tax. Lucy’s foster mom would like her adopters to live in the Twin Cities area so she can see her once in a while. She would also like Lucy and her new family to attend our Rescue Reunion which is held each year on the third weekend in June.
Before contacting Shih Tzu Rescue of Minnesota regarding any dog, please thoroughly read the Adoption Information at http://www.shihtzurescuemn.org/adopt.html first to help you understand the process, requirements and timeline for adoption.
