Bulletproof's Story...
Bulletproof (We call her BP) has quite the story to tell.....Back in late October some local teens thought it would be funny to throw this adorable puppy out of a window and then down 40 stairs. They then dumped her at an animal control where we saved her. Of course her front right leg was injured. Our vet did many xrays and observed her for months while determining if surgery was necessary to "fix" her leg. We had to wait several months because she was so young and her injury would affect her growth plate. It was determined that surgery would neither make her leg better or worse so we are better off to leave it the way it is. Her leg doesn't slow her down on bit. She just uses her leg differently than most dogs. She can run and play with the best of them! She knows how to sit and has THE best temperament. Loves all kids and dogs. She is fully vetted, all she is missing is a family to call her own! Her adoption fee is $250. Fill out an adoption application at www.hartofil.com to meet her. She is located at our adoption center in Joliet.
