My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stanley is Adopted

Stanley is currently fostered in Rossford OH, and his adoption fee/donation is $250

Stanley is an adorable 3 yr old blonde cocker spaniel with a full natural tail.
He came into our rescue from a shelter in KY where he was found wandering the streets.
Poor Stanley was a matted mess when he was found. His coat was full of sticks and wire, his ears were so infected and neglected, he was miserable. The initial vet exam showed calcification of his canals, and a full ablation was recommended. We have successfully reversed this type of ear issue with alternative treatment, and that is what we are doing for Stanley.
We use liquid health k9 ear solution daily on his ears, and they are responding thus far. This little boy is so worth the time and commitment, he deserves to keep his hearing, and we arent going to even consider such an invasive surgery wthout trying he alternatives first.
Stanley is a great little dog; he is so friendly and well tempered and he gets along well with other dogs. He uses the doggy door in his foster home and is housetrained.
He is a super special cocker; his foster has nothing but wonderful things to say about him, such as "someone is going to have a really nice cocker when he is adopted. We do feel that his ear issues can be managed with this current treatment, and his adopters must be committed to continuing his earcare.

Stanley is neutered, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for heartworm, and is current on preventative.
