My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Single male, mature Shih Tzu looking for a sugar mama! Hi, I'm Bandit and I'm here to steal your heart :). My foster mom says I'm a sweet, loveable, older guy, with a lot of love to give, some play left in me, and a touch of "old man" syndrome. I came from a hoarding situation and have been with my foster mom for a week. I'm really starting to come out of my shell. I am crate trained and considered house trained (okay, I've marked a few times just to make sure other dogs know I'm here). I am not food aggressive or protective and really love having my belly rubbed; however, when I am disturbed (either sleeping or someone moving me and I don't want to be) I will vocalize my discontent. I've never snapped or tried to bite, but I do make sounds that some may take for growling - but hey, us older guys like our afternoon naps! I do enjoy a good small soft toy and treats, and cuddling on a couch or bed (human or dog). I get along with other dogs and am not very demanding. I have found my voice and like to notify you when someone comes into the house (a little bit of guard duty)...I've even barked at a document printing to let my foster mom know it was coming.
