Dobby's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dobby's Story...
Dobby and two of his friends were dumped at a trailer park. They were taken to a shelter with very few happy endings but were fortunately rescued and brought to Friends For Life. Dobby is a true-blue lap dog. He can sit on your lap like nobody’s business. Here’s what you need to now about Dobby:

A bit shy at first he warms up quickly.
He is super sweet and LOVES to cuddle.
He likes to go on walks and is good on the leash.
He is potty trained!
He is a bit afraid of cats… not quite sure what they are all about. Will probably be fine once he get to know them.
He loves to follow you around to be by your side.
He loves to romp and play!

Meet Dobby and see how the two of you get along. Dobby needs you, and you know that you need him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dobby, a Houston Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
