My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there. My name is Rambo. I am about 1 year old and I weigh about 30 lbs.
Someone went to the Sheriff's office which is near the pound and told them that they put in in a crate here at the pound. The said they didn't know who I belonged to, but that they couldn't keep me and put me here. The also said they weren't able to give me water, so the Sheriff's office called one of the girls from the pound so she could come get me out of the cage and put me inside where I have shelter, food and water. When she got here to get me, I put up a little bit of a fuss at first because I was scared and I didn't know who she was. After I knew she wasn't going to hurt me I was just fine.
I am a pretty nice little boy here at the pound, though I do have the typical spitz attitude going on. I am okay with people and I am fine with most of the other dogs. I can be a little bossy myself, so I don't really care for other dogs trying to push me around. The pound suggests that you bring any potential dog family members in to meet me. I am very peppy and full of energy and would do best in a home where I could get plenty of exercise.
If you're looking for a sweet little dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me!

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JUNE 17, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
