Facts about Bobbie

  • Breed: Dutch Shepherd
  • Color: Brindle
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Bobbie is a 55-pound, short-haired Dutch Shepherd. She loves to run and play and is good with other dogs; she prefers male dogs. Bobbie is a true sweetheart and her shy nature fades away as strangers become friends. After getting used to new people, she bonds quickly. Bobbie is very affectionate and eager to please people. She has had limited contact with older children, and seems to fine with them.

Bobbie needs an active lifestyle and at least a six-foot fence. She is very smart and learns quickly. Bobbie is seeking a forever home with a large secure yard or an active family/person. She is a high-energy dog and will do best in a home with another dog companion close to her own size. She also enjoys many quiet moments daydreaming out the window and napping with her person. Bobbie enjoys car rides and would love to go on more adventures. We think Bobbie Mae would make a great jogging partner! Bobbie knows basic obedience and has PERFECT HOUSE MANNERS!

Bobbie is spayed; current on routine vaccinations; heartworm negative and taking monthly preventive; and microchipped. If interested in adopting Bobbie Mae, please email your information to A volunteer will call within 24 hours. Adoption contribution $150 - $200.

We do not do same-day adoptions and a home visit is required. Adoption contribution is $150 - $200. All monetary gifts are used to care for dogs in our program.

SPDR's dogs are spayed or neutered, current on routine vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly preventive.

Depending on the amount of time our adoptable dogs have been in a foster home, we strive to teach basic obedience, house manners, and socialization with dogs and people.

Sacred Paws is dedicated to the dogs in our program for life. We always take our dogs back if the adoption is not a good fit -- and we are committed to helping each dog make a transition from our foster home(s) into forever home(s) through training and behavior modification.
