Olive's Story...
Olive is a 3 year old border collie/ spaniel mix.Olive does very well with kids and other dogs; all sizes. She is also okay with cats. Fully house trained, crate trained and very well behaved. Olive knows several basic commands and is ready to learn more. She loves to go on walks. She is about 25 lbs.
Olive is in foster care right now because he family moved out of town, they said they could only take one dog, and took her brother. The look on her face when her family left her, was heart wrenching. If it was me, i would have found a way to take this beautiful dog with them. Olive is very loving and would make a wonderful addition. She is truly looking for her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive, a Overland Park Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
