My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a very sweet and loving boy and I do love to play!!

I have been neglected, starved and tossed from home to home and believe it or not I am still a very happy puppy!!! One of my owners starved me, then I went to a vet tech who tried to help me and find me a forever home but well she failed. The home she found for me lasted only 7 days they said their 3 yr. old child was afraid of me and I knocked her down. That home was threatening to take me to a kill shelter when Muttley Crue agreed to take me. They immediately called Harlequin Haven Great Dane Rescue who picked me up the very next morning and I was transported to the rescue!!

I have a cherry eye that needs fixed and I need to gain weight but in the mean time I need to relax and enjoy a stable environment plus play with all my new toys and friends!!
Update: I had my surgery to repair my cherry eye last week and will go back in 2 weeks to have a recheck. Plus, I gained 5 pounds!!! Life just keeps getting better!
Update: I ended up having a 2nd eye surgery and I am now ready for adoption.

Update: Well I am back!!! I thought I had found my forever home but I was wrong and so was the rescue!! My adopters had agreed to get me obedience to help them learn how to control and handle a Great Dane well they didn't then they became afraid of me or so they said!! They said I would bark when they came home from work, well YES I did!! I wanted to get out of the crate and go potty!!! Ya know when ya gotta go, ya gotta go!!! I am happy to be back at the rescue where hopefully I can find a family that understands me better!! I am a very sweet and loving boy and I do love to play!!
