My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

For the first 6 months or so of my life, I was nobody’s dog. No one ever scratched my ears or rubbed my tummy. No one ever gave me a treat or a “Good Boy!”. And when I was hit by a car, no one came looking for me. I lay on the side of the road with a broken jaw, in terrible pain, until a kind couple happened by. At their house, I healed and altho I wasn't allowed inside, they spent time with me & I had great times playing with their other dogs. I learned that getting & giving love is what I was meant to do. Unfortunately, the family's pig and goat didn't want any love from me. Every time I tried to hang out with them there was such drama! Squealing & baaaahing... Baaaahing & squealing... Sooo, the family decided I should live somewhere else. Now I live in a group home where I still get love & attention, but I really, really, want some peeps of my own. I haven't met a big or little person I didn't like - especially if they have a treat in their pocket. I'm pretty easygoing, but I enjoy being active and would be delighted to go for hikes or on runs. I guess I'm smart; I catch on pretty quick. I've already learned how to walk on a leash & sit for treats. Sometimes when I'm thinking I scrunch up my forehead, which makes everyone laugh, but I don't mind - I love making people happy. I've come a long way from being nobody’s dog, but I'm still looking for a very special somebody (Is it you?) who'll make me theirs for the rest of my life.
