Fergus's Story...
If you're looking for trouble, this could be your guy. He was the tiniest, loudest kitten in the shelter and it was impossible to ignore him! He wanted room service, entertainment, and a "get out of jail free" card. Not much has changed. He makes people laugh and never disappoints. He's loving, courageous, and a once in a lifetime kitten. He's ruling the roost at his foster home in Madison, AL. To meet him, please email info@FORrescue.net. We'd like to introduce you. To make things even better, the kitten adoption fee is reduced to $50 until July 31. He's Felv/Fiv tested negative, neutered, microchipped, had his FVRCP vaccination, and has been examined by a vet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fergus, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
