Precious's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Precious's Story...
Precious is 7.6 pounds and estimated to be one year old. You'll never have to look far for her -- she will be one of three places. Right beside you, right behind you, or snuggled up against you! She does fine while her foster mom is at work although she'd prefer to go with her ;). Precious rides well in the car and cooperates when she's bathed weekly. She likes other dogs and is okay with cats but is a little intimidated by them. Rightfully so, most cats are larger than she is. She's described by her foster mom as a "total lovebug". To meet her, please email info@FORrescue.net. You may also complete an application at http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. She's fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Precious, a Huntsville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
