Rocky's Info...

Rocky's Story...
Rocky is a adult Rottweiler who is between 3 and 5 years old. He is black and tan and weighs 93 pounds. Rocky has hip dysplasia which requires daily medication. He needs someone experienced to administer his medication as he struggles to swallow them.

Rocky is a smart boy who responds to the commands "Sit", "No", and he will offer his paw.

Rocky loves to be petted. If he likes you, he will rub against you or grab your hand. He will talk to you when he is in a playful mood. When it is his bedtime, he lays right down on his designated blanket.

Rocky needs lots of TLC to which he responds to with great loyalty and love. He likes his own space where he can relax particularly when his hip is causing him discomfort. He needs an owner who understands his condition and maintains his daily medical regimen.

Rocky needs a home with older children & as only dog… or with an experienced handler.

Adoption Fee: $50, which includes vaccinations, rabies, deworming, current heartworm & flea prevention, & spay/neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Clarksville Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
