It is scary out there, especially when you have been on your own, fending for yourself and always on the lookout for any danger that may be lurking. This was made even worse because I had kittens I needed to take care of. While I’m still afraid of people, I was finally able to relax and just love my babies when Save-A-Pet took me in and I landed in a great foster home. My babies now all have families of their own and I am here. I get along well with cats and between you and me, I often hiss at people but if they approach me slowly, I will cautiously sniff them…and if they have some treats or food, even better. I hear every day that Save-A-Pet has amazing adopters and I know that one day mine will come, so if you are looking for a feline friend for your cat and won’t mind if it takes me a while to warm up to you, then make sure to ask about me by name. Lately, I’ve been doing much better with my human friends here—I’ll even greet them at the door, rub up against them, and let the petting begin!
