UPDATE 07/21: Ready for adoption! Hi friends. I am just the sweetest Golden Retriever you ever will meet. My name is Shelly and I am 4 years old. My mom got really sick and no one would take me so I ended up at a shelter. These really nice people came and picked me up and said everything was going to be ok. You see I have a broken leg - I was hit by a car about a year ago and it was never fixed. So I hear I am going to UT Vet School to see what they can do for an old injury. I actually get around really well but the doctor said I needed to lose some pounds before I have anything done. Oh, right - other than my bum leg, I am healthy and loving to everyone I meet. I am in a foster home with another dog and we love each other. I am house trained and walk really well on a leash too. So, stay tuned to see what is next for me - LOVE and SLOPPY KISSES - Shelly.
