My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blake is as cute and friendly as ever a pittie could be! He is small dude, weighs only 42lbs and is as good and calm as if he'd been in your house forever! Actually, this extremely handsome bully boy, was in boarding for nearly a year when we broke him out of boarding last week! He was rescued from a high kill north Georgia shelter last fall and then put in boarding while his rescuer looked for a home. That didn't happen as she came down with a serious illness, so he sat and sat waiting! Luckily Blake kept his happy and easy going demeanor all that time and waited patiently! Once the RAIN girls got involved. Blake moved to a foster home and has met with our trainer Josh Donahue of Argos Dogworks. Josh gave him a big thumbs up for his behavior assessment with other dogs and kids. We've not kitty tested him yet but we will before he heads to Washington for his next big adventure and more time in a crate! Blake is calm in the house, crate trained and house trained and very ready for a real fun life outside of a fenced area. Blake will be a great exercise partner, he'd love to accompany you on a daily run, long walk, weekend hike or even a bike ride. He's energetic but great on the leash and easy to correct as he wants to please. He can be trusted to meet and greet easily so he'll enjoy northwest dog parks and neighborhood play dates. He remembers most of his basic commands (someone worked with him in the past) but would love a training session or class with you too. Blake is just the coolest little, people pup, who truly deserves a wonderful life in the northwest! He is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped and his adoption fee is $400. He'll be arriving on Saturday July 12th after a few more days on the road. Any questions, email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com or hurry to be the first get your online application in at www.raincityrescue.com. The only questions you might have is, can he come any sooner??!!
